வணக்கம்! Welcome to Tamil Quest

This app teaches real, spoken and written Tamil — from the script itself through to literary excerpts from Tirukkural, Bharathiyar, and Kalki. Every word and grammar note is checked against multiple independent sources before it's added.

📚
Learn — 5 levels, at your pace

Lessons are organized into 5 levels, from the Tamil script itself up through advanced grammar and literary reading. Vocabulary, verb conjugation, case forms, listening, and reading each have their own dedicated lesson type.

🔁
Review — spaced repetition

Every word and form you learn gets scheduled for review right when you're about to forget it — the same spaced-repetition idea behind apps like Anki. Reviewing cards on time, even just a few a day, is what actually makes vocabulary stick.

🛕
Explore, Experience, Immerse

Beyond lessons, three pillars cover Tamil history and culture, real travel destinations (including an interactive trip builder), and Tamil cinema and literature — with a streak and achievement system to help you keep coming back.

Spaced Repetition
This app's review scheduling is inspired by the SM-2 algorithm (SuperMemo, Piotr Woźniak, 1987). Stage intervals are independently calibrated for this app, not copied from any other product.

A Note on Accuracy
⚠️
This app's Tamil content has been checked against multiple independent written sources, but has not yet been reviewed end-to-end by a native or fluent Tamil speaker. If something looks wrong, it may well be — feedback is welcome.
